VAN WERT, Ohio - Laura D. Riggenbach, 80, of Van Wert, died at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born April 16, 1932, in Paulding County, Ohio, to the late Annabelle (Moorehead) Williamson and Earl Williamson. Her husband, Richard Riggenbach, is deceased. They were married June 17, 1950.

Survivors include her children: Stan (Nancy) Riggenbach of Waterville, Ohio, and Mark Riggenbach of Van Wert, Ohio, grandchildren: Thomas, Brian, Bradley, David, Nicholas and Callie Riggenbach, and great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Tyler, Noah, Ellie, Taylor, Maxwell, William, Isabel, Kylie and Elijah Riggenbach.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Ken and Bill Williamson and sisters: Kate Sprow and Betty Fox.

She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert and a former member of Van Wert Elks and Moose lodge.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 23 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Gus Christo-Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.

Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, April 22 and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
