VAN WERT, Ohio - Douglas S. "Esh" Eshelman, 51, of Van Wert, died at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.

He was born Jan. 14, 1961, in Natrona Heights, Pa., to Judith E. (Hill) Eshelman, who survives in Cabot, Pa., and the late Ronald L. Eshelman. His wife, Belinda J. (Bowling) Eshelman, survives in Van Wert. They were married June 28, 2002.

Other survivors include a child: April Stefanik of Leechburg, Pa.; his stepchildren: Trish Burtch of Chattanooga, Ohio, and Brad (Justina) High of Mendon, Ohio; brothers: Jeffrey L. Eshelman of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Curtis A. (Gail) Eshelman of Natrona Heights, Pa.; two nephews; a niece, and a grandchild: Cami High.

He had formerly worked at the Vanamatic Co. in Delphos, Ohio. He was a member of the Wetzel Motorcycle Club and the Van Wert Moose Lodge.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery, Mendon, Ohio. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, at the funeral home.
