Susan U. (Peplinski) Jones, 55, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Convoy, Ohio, died at 12:01 p.m. April 28, 2012, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, surrounded by many loved ones.

She was born Jan. 5, 1957, in Traverse City, Mich., to Ulaine (Allen) Peplinski of Maple City, Mich., and Fred Peplinski of Maple City, Mich. Her husband, Jeffery L. Jones, survives of Fort Wayne.

Other survivors include her children: Carrie (Scott) Martin of Viera, Fla., and Heather (Juan) Garcia of Archbold, Ohio; a brother: Wally (Cheryl) Peplinski of Flushing, Mich.; her sisters: Brenda (Rich) Murnane of Goshen, Ind., and Cindy (Bob) Moser of Reed City, Mich.; grandchildren: Chase Lambert, Garret Lambert, Sonny Garcia, Juan Garcia, Taylor and Brenden Martin, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two children, Eric and Ryan Jones, and a brother, David Peplinski.

She was a homemaker. Susan was a very caring and supportive person. She especially had a love for children.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at Gearhart, Mack & Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy. The Rev. Jay Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Convoy. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 1 at the funeral home in Convoy.
