Patricia Ward

Patricia J. Ward, 73, of Van Wert, Ohio died at 11:14 AM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.  She was born May 4, 1944 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Wilbur & Sara (Clark) Adams.  On September 2, 1967 she married Richard L. Ward and he survives of Van Wert, Ohio.

Patricia is survived by two daughters, Dr. Melissa Bowman of Convoy, Ohio and Miranda (Adam) Garcia of Lima, Ohio; one brother, Dr. Robert (Deb) Adams of Van Wert; a sister, Sherrill (Tom) Giessler of Madison, Wisconsin; and four grandchildren, Jacob Bowman, Scott Bowman, Autumn Garcia and Christian Garcia.

She is a retired art teacher from the Paulding Exempted Village Schools.  She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed reading.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Preferred memorials may be directed to the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
