Abby L. Shumaker, 33, of Marion, died Saturday evening, July 23, 2016, in Paulding, Ohio. She was born Jan. 24, 1983, in Van Wert, Ohio. Her mother and stepfather, Rosanne L. (Adams) Font and Richard Font, survive of Paulding. Her father, Barry M. Shumaker, is deceased.
She is survived by two daughters; maternal grandmother: Irene Adams; aunts and uncles: Cheryl and Frank Bowen; Tania (Rich) Kreischer, and Lanny Lemon; nieces: TeNiyah Mason and TaRyah Mason; nephews: Tieran Mason, Tahvean Mason, and Tahj Mason, and sister, Stacy Mason of Marion, Ohio; step-siblings: Terri (Chad) McCabe of Antwerp; Johnathon (Stefany) Font of Payne; Christa (Henry) Manz of Paulding; Mervin (Sarena) Font of Paulding. She also is survived by a brother-in-law, Dimitri Mason, and sister-in-law, Charline Coleman.
She currently worked at G K Packaging, Inc. in Marysville, Ohio.
Service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Jody Harr will officiate. Visitation is 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial may be directed to the family.
