Alexis Billingham

Alexis P. Billingham, 23, of Zanesville, formerly of Van Wert, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 13, 2019 at her residence. She was born October 27, 1995, in Zanesville, to Frank and Justina "Tina"(Watts) Billingham, Jr.

A 2014 graduate of Van Wert High School, Alexis played trumpet in the school band. She went on to graduate from U.N.O.H. with two degrees in Computer Sciences.

Alexis was a lover of music and a multi-instrumentalist. In addition to playing trumpet, she played piano, guitar and ukulele. She loved the outdoors and also enjoyed playing Pokemon Go and Call of Duty.

She is survived by her parents, Frank and Tina Billingham, Jr.; brother, Douglas Billingham; sister, Nykeeley Billingham, all of Van Wert; grandparents, Diana Garges of Columbus, OH; Frank Billingham, Sr. of Corning, OH; Lucinda Watts of Zanesville; nephew, Oliver Billingham of Van Wert; as well as many aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, James Watts.

A funeral service will be at 6 PM, Monday, June 17, 2019 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Will Haggis presiding. The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 6 PM on Monday, prior to the service. There will also be an additional visitation on from 2 PM to 5 PM Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home in Zanesville, OH.
