VAN WERT, Ohio - Andrew C. Hammons, 24, of Van Wert, died Wednesday morning, March 7, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
He was born Dec. 15, 1987, in Dayton, Ohio, to Jennifer (Schibler) Hammons of Van Wert and Al Hammons of Convoy, Ohio.
Survivors include a son: Andrew C. Hammons, Jr. of Marion, Ohio; his sisters: Amanda Hammons of Convoy and Areena (Philip) Hammons-Raines of Van Wert; maternal grandparents: Ralph and Pat Schibler of Catawba Island, Ohio, and paternal grandfather: Clinton Hammons of Hillsboro, Ohio.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Rita Bair will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 9 at the funeral home.
