VAN WERT, Ohio - Anna B. Mace, 103, of Van Wert, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 7:50 p.m. at Vancrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
She was born Jan. 15, 1910 in Omaha, Nebraska to John J. and Anna (Larkovic) Fox, who are both deceased.
On Nov. 29, 1930 she married Walter G. Mace. He passed away on Oct. 20, 1990.
She is survived by nieces: Joanne Bowen of Van Wert and Helen Keith of New Knoxville, Ohio; and many great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers: John Fox, Edward Fox, and William Fox; and sisters: Frances Barnard, Mary Rego, and Marg Frankenberg.
Anna loved spending her married life, traveling the world with her husband Walter and later in life loved spending time with her cats. She was a homemaker.
She was a former member of VFW Women's Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary.
Graveside Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul W. Miller will officiate.
