VAN WERT, Ohio - Barbara A. Scholten, 65, of Van Wert, died at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert.
She was born Jan. 30, 1946, in South Bend, Ind., to Maxine (Butterfield) Delong and Raymond Delong. She was raised by Bill and Wanda Maples.
Survivors include her children: Michael Scholten of Las Vegas, NV, William Scholten of Pigeon Forge, TN, and Jessica Scholten of Van Wert, and grandchildren: Gavin Scholten and Savannah Springer.
She attended First United Methodist Church, Van Wert. She spent her career managing and servicing in the restaurant industry.
There will be no calling hours or services.
