Barry Lynn Buecker

VAN WERT, OHIO- Barry Lynn Buecker passed away at the age of 70 on August 19, 2023 in Van Wert. He was born on June 15, 1953 to the late Harry and Mary (nee Leist) Buecker. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Jacqueline (nee Custer) Buecker.

Loving father of Rebecca L. (Anthony) Houston and Mark A. (Katie) Buecker. Proud Grandpa to Madison Buecker and Avery Houston.

Barry graduated from Van Wert High School, Class of 1971.

He found great pride in serving the people of Van Wert County, starting his career at Pressler's Body Shop as a car detailer and later owning A-1 Car Care. One of the biggest thrills of his career was operating a tow truck for Yahn's Body Shop.

Throughout his life, Barry enjoyed serving as a member and Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge #1197. Barry was a talented golfer and loved his golf buddies and their many trips. There was nothing he loved more than his family, motorcycles, Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and Xavier Musketeers. Known for his vibrant personality, Barry could light up the room with a smile and his patented "Yup!"
