Bessie Kraner

Bessie G. Kraner, 82, of Ohio City, died at 10:55 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born September 15, 1928, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Noble H. and Hazel Faye (Corwin) Judge. On December 24, 1947, she married Dick J. Kraner, who preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include four children, Richard (Karen) Kraner and Dennis J. (Carolyn) Kraner, both of Ohio City, Dianne May of Fort Wayne and Dan Kraner of Indianapolis, Ind.; three sisters, Alice Simms of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Virginia Sapp of Portage, Ind., and Violet Adams of Venedocia; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Corwin and William Judge; and a sister, Phyllis Niedermeyer, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Dr. Jody Harr officiating.
