VAN WERT, Ohio - Betty L. Agler, 83, of Van Wert, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at her residence.
She was born July 4, 1929, in Van Wert, to the late Goldie (Johns) Long and Lewis Long.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Agler.
Survivors include her children: Pam (Steve) McCollum, Ron (Kathy) Agler, Jerry (Robin) Agler, all of Van Wert; brothers: Bob of Ohio City, Ohio, and Dale of Van Wert; sisters: Grace of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Dorothy of Portland, Ind., and Roberta of Akron, Ohio; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Lewis "Pete," and sisters: Helen, Gladys and Mildred.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Van Wert.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert. Friends may call from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at the funeral home.
