VAN WERT, Ohio - Betty L. Dailey, 79, Van Wert, died at 8:20 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.
She was born Feb. 25, 1933, in Van Wert County, Ohio, to the late Ruth (Fawcett) Miller and Alfred Miller.
Her husband, Thomas Dailey, survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include her children: Stephen (Leilani) Dailey of Van Wert, Kathy Martin of Elida, Ohio, Michael (Ana) Dailey of Archbold, Ohio, and Kevin (Sandy) Dailey of Van Wert, three grandchildren: Paula Johnson, Ben Martin, Dani Dailey, and four great-grandchildren: Connor and Elizabeth Johnson, Asher and Amelia Martin.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Robert Miller and Wilbur Miller, and sisters: Marguerite Johns and Mary Johnson.
She retired from Kennedy Kit, Van Wert, after 25 years of service. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Van Wert, worked with the Peacemakers making quilts and was in the Eunice group, both with the church.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Van Wert. The Rev. Will Haggis will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Preferred memorial is St. Mark's Lutheran Church OR Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
