Betty J. Ricker, 74, died at 9:57 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio.
She was born Jan. 17, 1938, in Van Wert, Ohio, to the late Mabel (Prichard) Allen and Frank Miller, Sr.
She married Gerald "Jerry" William Ricker. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children: Danny Ray (Marcia) Ricker of Smithfield, N.C., Bobby Joe Ricker, Gerald "Junie" Ricker, Jr., and Ricky Lee (Kim) Ricker, all of Van Wert, and Tammy Patricia (Rick) Dull of Scott, Ohio; brothers: Bob (Phyllis) Miller of Sturgis, Mich., and George (Rachel) Miller of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Don Miller and Frank Miller, Jr., and her stepfather, Chester Allen.
She was a homemaker and attended First Friends Church, Van Wert.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at First Church of God, Van Wert. The Rev. Jacob J. Watts will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert.
Preferred memorial is First Church of God or American Cancer Society.
