VAN WERT, Ohio - Beverly A. Saylor, 68, of Van Wert, died at 9:27 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
She was born May 29, 1945, in Van Wert, to the late Lydia L. (Hennis) Schnepp and Gerald W. Schnepp.
Survivors include her stepchildren: Brad (Kim) Saylor of Van Wert, Lori (Kent) Klinger of Ft. Jennings, Ohio, Tammy (Jeff "Boone") Hartman of Ohio City, Ohio, stepgrandchildren: Adam and Kelsey Saylor, Tabitha Hartman, Gregory and Justin Klinger, and a stepgreat-grandchild: Arieanna L. Hartman.
She was preceded in death by a stepgrandchild: Toby Tate, and a brother: Donald E. Schnepp.
She retired after 41 years at Teleflex of Van Wert. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Van Wert. She bowled for over 30 years, loved to camp and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cincinnati Bengal fan.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Hal Shaffer will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is St. Rita Medical Center Coronary Care Unit, Lima, Ohio.
