VAN WERT, Ohio - Billy Joe Carroll, 65, of Van Wert, died at 6:25 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 27, 1948, in Van Wert, to the late Ellen (Shepherd) Carroll and Elmo Carroll.
Survivors include his significant other, Debra L. Klinger, of Van Wert; children: Cindy (Gary) Bland of Crestline, OH, Bruce Carroll of Dayton, OH, Billie Jo (Bill) Ralston of Cardington, OH, Sara E. (fiance - Bob Barker) Carroll of Van Wert and Thomas Carroll of Ohio; brother: Eddie Carroll of Van Wert; sisters: Sue (Larry) Dowler of Van Wert, Colleen (Michael) Rowland of Middle Point, OH, Nancy (Louie) King of Lima, OH, and Faye (Jack) Trinosky and Peggy Burnett, both of Van Wert; grandchildren: Jamie (Greg) Phillips and Kathleen Bland, both of Crestline, Spenser Carroll and Garrritt Missler, both of Lima, Bruce Jackson Carroll of Westerville, OH, and great-grandchildren: Bentley Bland-Corwin, Kassie Petrik, Jace Petrik, Kylee Bland-Stratton and Steven Bland.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Herschel Eugene Carroll, Kerry Lee Carroll, Barry Lynn Carroll and Jim R. Carroll.
He retired from Teleflex/Kongsberg, Van Wert, after 16 years of service.
No services will be held.
