VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Buddy Dean Raines, Sr., 54, of Van Wert, died Sunday morning, Feb. 8, 2015, at his residence.
He was born May 28, 1960, in Lima, Ohio, to Stella (Alsept) Raines, who survives of Van Wert, and the late Buddy Raines.
His wife, Betty (Pease) Raines, survives of Van Wert. They married on April 28, 1990.
Other survivors include children: Buddy D. Raines, Jr., Tiffany Raines, Dalton Raines, and Isaac Thurston, all of Van Wert; brothers: Wade (Emma) Raines, Sr. and Mike Raines, both of Van Wert; sisters: Brenda Sue Raines, Linda Argabright, and Elaine (Ryan) Barnes, all of Van Wert, and a grandchild: Wyatt Munoz.
He worked as a tree trimmer.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at Alspach-Gearahrt Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill, Ohio.
Visitation is 12-2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is to the family.
