Carol Graves

Carol Jean Graves, 80, of St. Marys, Ohio, died at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the St. Marys Living Center, St. Marys, Ohio. She was born on June 10, 1934, the daughter of Herbert H. and Viola (Bollenbacher) Kuhn. She had lived in the area all her life and was a cook for many years in St. Marys, at Koch's Restaurant, later re-named, Matt's Restaurant. She was a member of the Auglaize Senior Citizens in St. Marys. Surviving are two sons: Mike Graves of Muscatine, Iowa and Mark (Lisa) Graves, of St. Marys, Ohio. There are three grandchildren: Heather (Ted) McDaniel, Jessica (Cheldon) Fetters, and Melissa Graves, as well as five great grandchildren: Bradyn Fetters, Evan McDaniel, Jacob McDaniel, Matthew McDaniel, and Owen Fetters. Three brothers survive: Vernon (Vera) Kuhn of Rockford, Orville Kuhn of Tucson, Arizona; Chalmer (Pat) Kuhn of Hollywood, Florida. Two sisters also survive: Dalila "Becky" Hays of Rockford and Dorothy Rupert of Largo, Florida. One sister-in-law, Jane Kuhn of Rockford, survives. Robert Gerald Kuhn, her brother, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., and on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be directed to Grand Lake Hospice.
