Chris Adams

Chris A. Adams, 53, of Van Wert, died at 2:51 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was born March 29, 1961, in Van Wert, the son of Gary and Barbara (Dougal) Adams, who both survive in Va Wert. He married Mary (Klewer) Adams, who also survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include two children, Emily (Joe) Piacentini of San Antonio, Texas, and Nathan Adams of Van Wert; a brother, Jason (Amy) Adams of Van Wert; one sister, Kim (Terry) Owens of Van Wert; and one grandchild, Aubrey Piacentini of San Antonio, Texas.
Chris was the owner of Chris Adams Cleaning and Landscaping and was a worship leader at Life House Church in Van Wert. He was a member of Elks Lodge 1197 in Van Wert and lead singer-songwriter for The Fortress Band.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, at Life House Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Matt Braun officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, and an hour prior to services Wednesday, all at Life House Church in Van Wert.
