LATTY, Ohio a�" Clara M. Youtsey, 76, of Latty, died at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
She was born Nov. 7, 1937, in Delphos, Ohio, to the late Loris (Lucas) Parsons and Francis M. Parsons.
Her husband, Charles L. Youtsey, Sr., died April 20, 1997. They were married July 20, 1957.
Survivors include children: Rev. Earl (Connie) Gile of Latty, Charles (Jackie) Youtsey, Jr. of Haviland, Ohio, Sue (Steve) Warren of Paulding, Ohio, Christine Youtsey of Findlay, Ohio, Cheryl (Dennis) Carlisle of Defiance, Ohio, Candi (Randy) Smallwood of New Albany, Ind., Cindy (Alan) Conner of Galion, Ohio, Claudine (Mike) Graham of Dupont, Ohio; stepdaughter: Sue (Ron) Carlisle of Antwerp, Ohio; two stepsons: Dan (Nancy) Frantom of Convoy, Ohio, and Miles Sealscott of Van Wert, Ohio; brothers: Marion (Peggy) Parsons of Toledo, Ohio, Larry "Pete" (Cheryl) Parsons of Riverside, Calif., Francis (Lee) Parsons, Jr. of Riverside, Calif., and Ronald (Karen) Parsons of Van Wert; sisters: Lois Peas of Van Wert and Thelma (Jerry) Moon of Lima, Ohio; 48 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Donald, Jim and Paul Gene Parsons; sisters: Maxine Bethel, Evelyn Parsons and June Parsons; three grandchildren: Charlie, Jeremy and Dallas, and a great-grandchild: Margret.
She was a former waitress for Carl Mackie Restaurant and formerly worked at TSC, Van Wert. She was a member of Van Wert Pentecostal Church, Van Wert. She was a member of and former president of Paulding Eagles Auxiliary, a member of the former Van Wert Eagles and Van Wert VFW Auxiliary. She was the former president of the Grover Hill VFW Auxiliary and a member of the Van Wert American Legion Auxiliary.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Earl Gile will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. A Paulding Eagles Auxiliary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
