Cody Bland

Cody I.T. Bland, 25, of Scott, Ohio passed away at 1:01 PM on January 20, 2020 at Van Wert Health.

Born on February 08, 1994 in, Ft. Wayne, the son of Gregory R.(Anne) Bland of Woodburn, Indiana and Barbara Elliott.

Cody graduated from New Haven High School, enjoyed fishing, throwing darts, listening to music, and the outdoors. Most importantly, Cody was an amazing father and always did everything he could for his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance`, Mauranda Huffman of Scott, his children, Viktor Bland, Damyen Bland, and Mauriella Bland; his paternal grandparents, Gregory A. (Annette Seibert) Bland of Scott and Rita R. Bland of Van Wert; maternal grandmother, Candice Dunno; an aunt, Lori Bland of Van Wert; half sisters, Abby Brock and Legacy Williams; and a half brother, Legend Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Jeff Miller officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cody's three children.
