Connie S. Hawk, 72, of Rockford, Ohio, died Friday afternoon, January 31, 2010 at The Community Health Professionals In-patient Hospice Facility in Van Wert, Ohio. She was born July 8, 1938, in Wabash, Ohio, Mercer County to Rudolph and Lelah (Howell) Hass. On November 15, 1959, she married Roger Hawk, and he survives. She had lived in the area all her life, and worked at Reynolds & Reynolds in Celina for over 30 years. She attended church at Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina. Surviving in addition to her husband, Roger, is one son, Michael (Linda) Hawk of Rockford; 1 brother, William (Sharon) Haas, Celina; 3 sisters, Jane Cunningham, Celina, Judy (Marvin) McIntosh, also of Celina, and Helen (Mike) Homan, Omaha, Nebraska. Five grandchildren survive: Haley, Nicholas, and Zachary Hawk, Curtis and Nichole Mosier; and 3 great grandchildren, Alexis, Drayk, and Jaylee Mosier. Her mother-in-law, Thelma Hawk survives in Rockford. Deceased is 1 daughter, Victoria Mosier, 1 sister, Phyllis Heiby and 1 brother-in-law, James Cunningham. Services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011at 10:00 am at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford with Pastor Randall Exman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rockford. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-8 pm and on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
