Connie Roop

Connie L. Roop, 81, of Scott, died at 6:22 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2017, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Feb. 11, 1936, in Grover Hill, Ohio, to Nina (Clear) Stahl and Isaac Stahl. Her parents are deceased.
Her husband, Carlvin “Carl” Roop, is deceased. They were married March 14, 1953.
Survivors include children, William (Robin) Roop of Scott, Michael (Cheryl) Roop and Chris Harman, both of Van Wert, Laurie (Deb) Roop of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a brother, Kenneth (Joan) Stahl of Van Wert; 10 grandchildren, Rick Roop, Doug Roop, Scott Roop, Stacy Cox, Joe Roop, Jeremy Hanicq, Katie Barton, Jessi Harman, Kyle Seekings, Isaac Roop; 24 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Stahl, and a sister, Gloria Kline.
She retired in 1986 as a receptionist for Dr. Harris, DDS. In addition to being an avid NASCAR and OSU Buckeye fan, Connie enjoyed fishing and camping.
No services are planned.
