Connie Wood

Connie M. Wood, 80, of Van Wert, passed away on December 18, 2024, at Van Wert Health after a brief illness. She was born December 26, 1943, in Bluffton, IN, to the late Emmanuel M and Helen M. (Davis) McHugh.

A 1961 graduate of Van Wert High School, Connie went on to work for many years at Teleflex until its closing. She then worked at McDonalds until her failing health forced her to slow down.

Connie is survived by her son, Christopher Wood of Van Wert and sister, Delda McHugh of Van Wert.

In addition to her parent, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mearl McHugh.

Services will be scheduled at a later date. Connie will be laid to rest next to her parents and brother in Woodlland Cemetery.
