Dale L. Springer, 86, Van Wert, Ohio died at 7:17 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center in Van Wert, Ohio.
He was born July 29, 1928 in Hicxksville, Ohio to Razzi and Magdelina Springer, who are both deceased.
He married Beverly "Sue" (Free) Springer on June 12, 1947. She passed away on January 12, 2010.
Surviving are children: Randy (Carol) Springer of Van Wert, Ohio; and Rick (Sarah) Springer of Eaton, Ohio; five grandchildren: Tina Muncy of Lafayette, Georgia; Scott (Jill) Springer of Harlan, Indiana; Blake (Tiffany) Springer of Charlotte, North Carolina; Brandon Springer of Van Wert, Ohio; and Ian Boller of Eaton, Ohio; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers: Gene and Max Springer.
He retired from National Seal Corporation in Van Wert after 42 years of service.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, Ohio. The Rev. Gus Christo-Baker will officiate.
Preferred memorials are to the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
