Danny Sites

Danny L. Sites, 64, of Van Wert, died at 9:02 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at his residence. He was born May 25, 1952, in Van Wert, to Patsy Rosemary (Johnson) Sites and Omer J. Sites, Jr. His parents are deceased.
Survivors include a son, Robert L. Sites of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; one brother, Omer J. Sites, III of Van Wert; a sister, Patricia A. (Chester) Stevens of Decatur, Indiana, as well as several nieces and nephews.
An infant sister, Susan A. Sites, preceded him in death.
He worked many years at Stran Building/Republic Steel before retiring from INK in Delphos, Ohio. He was a Vietnam veteran having service in the United States Army. He was a member of Delphos VFW Post 3035 and was an avid fisherman.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. No service is planned. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
Preferred memorial is Delphos VFW Post 3035.
