Darlene Gossard

Darlene Gossard, 64, of Van Wert, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at her residence. She was born on October 1, 1959, in Lima, to the late Willis and Clarabelle (Ice) Zwiebel.

After graduating from Memorial High School in St. Marys, Darlene went on to earn her bachelor's degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University.

On October 25, 2003, Darlene married the love of her life, Gary Gossard Jr. Together they enjoyed the time she spent together and with friends.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Gary L. Gossard of Van Wert; brother, Wes (Vicky) Zwiebel of Defiance and her mother-in-law: Vickie Gossard of Celina.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Gary L. Gossard Sr.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, 722 S. Washington Street, Van Wert, OH 45891.
