David Roark

David Roark, 78, formerly of Rockford, Ohio passed away on September 08, 2022 at Village Green Health Campus, Greenville, Ohio. He was born on February 25, 1944, in Erose, Kentucky to the late McKinley Roark and Polly (Sizemore) Roark.

David was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Proud of his Native American heritage, he enjoyed finding and collecting arrowheads and other Native American artifacts. He loved riding his motorcycle and exploring the countryside with his wife, Teresa. David also loved to spend his time outdoors gardening and taking care of his fruit trees, as well as riding bicycles with his family. He was favored amongst a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa (Hess) Roark of Rockford; one son, David Roark of Celina; two daughters, Tehya (Randy Carll) Whitehawk of Hartford City, Indiana, and Erin (Henry) Hopkins of Celina; five sisters, Sybil, Recia, Bonnie, Mary, and Kit; six grandchildren, Skye Anna Daniels, MacKinley Pearson, Brandon Roark, William Hess, Olivia (Chase) Naviello, and Paige Hess; and five great grandchildren, Kaine Daniels, Ceirek Daniels, Pierce Daniels, Taregan Acerro, and Emrys Naviello.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11am at Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US-33 Rockford, Ohio 45882, with Pastor William "Bud" Walls officiating.
