Dennis Owens

VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Dennis A. Owens, 59, of Van Wert, died at 10:20 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at Van Wert Hospital.
He was born June 2, 1955, in Van Wert, to Jean (Keirns) Owens, who survives of Van Wert, and David Owens, who survives of Van Wert.
Other survivors include brothers: Mike (Diane) Owens of Middle Point, Ohio, and Terry (Kim) Owens of Van Wert, sister: Mary Ann Owens Mathews of Baltimore, Maryland, and many nieces and nephews.
He was a lifelong farmer and a member of Salem Presbyterian Church, Venedocia, Ohio. Dennis was a skilled carpenter, mechanic and enjoyed old cars.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Thomas Emery will officiate. Burial will be in Venedocia Cemetery, Venedocia.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Salem Presbyterian Church, Venedocia.
