Dianne Brock

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dianne Brock, aged 61, who left us peacefully on March 23, 2025, at her daughter's home in Van Wert. She was born on October 5, 1963, in Van Wert, to the late Harold and Patricia (Potter) Boyd Jr.

Dianne grew up attending Trinity Friends Church, where her faith laid the foundation for a life filled with love and compassion. She graduated from Lincolnview High School and went on to embrace a fulfilling career as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), dedicating her life to caring for others. She was proud to work at Convoy Care Center, Van Wert Manor, and Vancrest, where her warmth and kindness made a lasting impact.

In a beautiful chapter of her life, Dianne married her soulmate, Jonathan Brock, on April 9, 1999. Together, they actively participated in Grace Bible Church, and later, she found a home in the Good Shepherd Church of the Nazarene. Sadly, Jonathan preceded her in death in 2017, yet his memory continued to shine brightly in Dianne's heart.

Dianne found joy in the simple pleasures of life, enjoying fishing and camping with loved ones. She had a distinctive sense of style - always looking fabulous in her favorite boots. She had a heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Her daughters, along with her beloved grandchildren, were her greatest treasures, bringing her immense joy and fulfillment.

Dianne is survived by her daughters: Heather (Jeremy Showalter) Pirani, Beth (Henry) Brooks, and Ruth Brock; brothers, Don (Jackie) Boyd and Harold (Jean) Boyd; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dianne was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathy Thompson and Angela Bridges.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. Dianne will be laid to rest privately with her husband in Woodland Cemetery.
