Donald L. Lassiter, 75, of Huntertown, IN (formerly of Van Wert, OH), passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN
He was born on December 28, 1938, to the late Foster and Dessie (Crago) Lassiter. He was married on September 6, 1959 to Judith (Fullhart) Lassiter.
Don was formerly employed as VP of Manufacturing at Garrett Electric Motors Specialties in Garrett, IN until his retirement in 1998. Before that he was the Assistant Plant Manager of the Phillip's Lighting Plant in Van Wert, OH
He is survived by his Aunt Sue (Crago) Jones and Uncle William Crago, sister Donna (Lassiter) Fox. His wife Judith (Fullhart ) Lassiter of Huntertown, IN, children Michael Lassiter and Melissa (Lassiter) Tracy. Grandchildren Amber Flores, Adam Lassiter, Elizabeth Lassiter, great grandchildren Miles and Maddi Doster.
Funeral services will be held at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, OH. Calling hours are on Friday May 23, 2014 from 4-7 pm. and the funeral service will be held on Saturday May 24, 2014 at 10:30am at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, with grave side service following at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
