Donald R. Young, 92, of Delphos, died at 9:55 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born September 28, 1920, in Clendenin, W.Va., the son of the late George and Camie (Welch) Young. Survivors include two children, Kim (Rob) Ratliff of Delphos and Rich Young of Columbus; a brother, Roy Young of West Virginia; one sister, Ruby Parker of West Virginia; three grandchildren, Sergei, Sasha and Nadia Ratliff; and one great-grandson, David Ratliff. A son, Douglas Young; two brothers, George Jr. and Thomas Young; and three sisters, Genevieve Moore, Belva Frye and Nina Crouse, also preceded him in death. Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Preferred memorials: Grace Community Church in Elida.
