Donna Etzler

Donna Mae Etzler, 84, of Van Wert, died at 10:46 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at Vancrest of Van Wert. She was born Nov. 26, 1931, in rural Convoy, Ohio, to Muriel E. (Scaer) Etzler and Herman Etzler. Her parents preceded her in death.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin C. Etzler, and sisters, Dorothy Korte, Pauline Muriel Etzler and Margaret Bieberich.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She worked as a dental assistant in Van Wert for three different dentists: Dr. Fugazzi, Dr. Eversman and Dr. Saunier.
She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Convoy, where she served on the hospitality committee for many years. She was a member of TWIG I and bowled for many years in the Majorette League in Van Wert.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at Gearhart - Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy. Pastor Michael Saylor will officiate. Burial will be in Redeemer Cemetery, Convoy.
Visitation is 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Redeemer Lutheran Church.
