MIDDLE POINT, Ohio - Donna J. Lemmon, 68, of Middle Point, died at 9:35 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 25, 1944, in Van Wert, Ohio, to the late Vera Joann (Robeson) Ellis and Robert Ellis. Her stepmother, Geneva Ellis, survives of Van Wert. She was raised by her grandmother: Goldie May Robeson.
Her husband, Lanny Lemmon, survives in Middle Point.
Other survivors include her children: Kimberly (Randall) Miller of Middle Point, and Lanie Tenile (Demarcus) Davis of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; brother: Rob (Lisa) Ellis of Van Wert; three stepbrothers; sister: Barbara Pier of Ft. Wayne; five grandchildren: Zachary and Zoe Miller; Israel, Zion and Zi'ayrah Davis, and nieces and nephew: Lisa Ridgway, Tracey Fahling and Doug Pier.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Tiffany J. Lemmon, a sister: Judee Clouse, and a grandchild: Aaliyah Monet.
She retired from Thomas Edison Residential Group Home, Van Wert. She was a member of Pentecostal Way Church, Van Wert, and a graduate of Only Believe Ministries Bible College and the Lincolnview High School class of 1962.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home and Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Bill Watson will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point. Friends may call from 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the funeral home.
