Doris LaMae German, 88, of Van Wert, died at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born April 17, 1925, in New York, N.Y., to the late Olga (Yuhasz) Lattin and Herman Lattin.
Her husband, Charles Harvey German, is deceased.
Survivors include children: Sally (Rudolph) Grant, Ricky Diane German, Doris M. (Gordon) Finger, Tina (Mike) Pugsley, Sherry (Greg) Huston and Charles Harvey (LeAnn) German, Jr., all of Van Wert; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Charlene Robertshaw, and one son, Charles Harvey German, who died in infancy.
She was a homemaker and attended Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, N.Y.
Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Neil Hammons will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
