CONVOY, Ohio - Douglas R. Good, 60, Convoy, died at 12:36 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
He was born July 23, 1951, in Van Wert, Ohio, to the late Margaret (Thomas) Good and Rudel "Rudy" Good. His wife, Pam (Kirk) Good, survives of Convoy. They were married Nov. 13, 1978.
Survivors include his children: Tanisha (Shane) Noble of Ft. Wayne, Michelle Loyer of Convoy and Chris (Rose) Loyer of Collins, Ohio; a brother: Randy Good of Convoy; two sisters: Donita Good of Antwerp, Ohio, and Debbie (Tim) Willis of Ridgeway, Va., and six grandchildren: Austin Weisenberger, Darrian Hoerig, Hope Loyer, Kaleb Loyer, Cheyenne Loyer and Warren Loyer.
He worked for Tully Township and farmed. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam.
In lieu of funeral services, Doug's family asks his friends to raise a glass in his memory.
Preferred memorial is donor's choice.
