Duane Grothause

Duane R. Grothause, 42, of Van Wert, died Monday, July 15, 2013.
He was born Aug. 2, 1970, in Lima, Ohio, to Dorothy (Miller) Grothause, who survives of Delphos, Ohio, and Norbert Grothause, who survives of Delphos, Ohio.
His wife, Maria (Mora) Grothause, survives of Van Wert.
Other survivors include his children: Joe (Jessica) Quevedo, Richard Quevedo and Eric Quevedo, all of Columbus, Ohio, Domonique Grothause and Adrianna Grothause, both of Van Wert; brother: Chris (Jane) Rode of Delphos; sisters: Annette (Terry) Ralston of Spencerville, Ohio, Genean (Doug) Corwin of Lima, Ohio, Peggy (Tom) Williams of Delphos and Laurie (Steve) Casebolt of Lima, Ohio.
He was a registered nurse and had formerly coached several youth sports.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Dave Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday July 17, 2013, at the funeral home.
