Edith M. Campton died Sunday, March 29, 2015 in Denver, Colorado. She was born on February 1, 1917 in Van Wert, Ohio to LeRoy and Arthelia (McClain) McGowen. She graduated from Hoaglin-Jackson High School. She was married to Howard Campton on November 23, 1938. He preceded her in death. They had one daughter who survives - Jean Ann (Lorne) Gale of Tucson, AZ; 2 grandchildren - Reed (Michelle) Bradford of Peachtree City, GA and Krista Bradford of Denver, CO; 3 great grandsons, Taylor, Parker and Logan. Son in law, Lorne, has 4 children that also survive Edith - Lori, Brad, Cory and Chad and 10 grandchildren. On August 2, 1990 Edith was married to Marvin Meier. Marvin's children also survive and they are Larry, Douglas, Kimberly and Christopher, as well as 11 more grandchildren and 19 more great grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with the Rev. Scott Campbell officiating.
