Edna Leonard

SCOTT, Ohio - Edna P. Leonard, 90, of Scott, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice, Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born Oct. 13, 1920, in Oak Hill, Ohio, to the late Eva N. (Clark) McCain and John L. McCain. Her husband, Edwin H. "Perk" Leonard, died Jan. 19, 1987.
Survivors include her children: Karen (Larry) Fleck of Longmont, Colo., and Sheila Vaughn of Scott, grandchildren: Kent Kesler, Marla Allenbaugh, Kirk Fleck, Jeff Fleck, Brad Fleck, Molly Secher, Rebecca Beech, Travis Vaughn and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Rhea Kesler; her brothers: Dewey, John and Alard McCain, and a sister: Clarene McCain.
She retired from the former North American Phillips Corp. in Van Wert after 25 years of service and attended Grover Hill Church of the Nazarene.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home and Crematory, Van Wert. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Scott.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center
