Eleanor Feasby

Eleanor L. Feasby, 87, of New Haven, IN passed away at 1:38 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at CHP Van Wert Inpatient Hospice. She was born on April 28 , 1930 in           Van Wert County, OH to the late Luther and Gertrude Walls.

She had a business baking and decorating wedding cakes. She eventually gave up the cake business and went to work at Patton Electric until she retired. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, feeding her fish and bird watching. She belonged to the orchid club and daylily club.

On November 26, 1949 she married Verlin P. Feasby, who passed away in 1975.

Eleanor will be sadly missed by her daughter, Cindy (Dale) Smith of New Haven, IN; sons, Scott (Barb) Feasby of New Haven, IN; Stan (Ann) Feasby of Antwerp, OH; grandchildren, Tracey (Jared) Mull, Dustin (Brenda) Smith, Lisa (Drew) Linder, Mindy (Brian) Carter, Cody (Cassandra) Feasby, Abby Feasby; 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by five of her ten siblings.

Funeral service will be 11 AM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Gearhart & Jurczyk Funeral Home, Convoy, OH with Pastor Ron Johnson presiding. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert, OH.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Tuesday, January 9, 2018 and one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the CHP Home Health Care and Hospice of Van Wert.
