Elizabeth "Ann" Bendele, 69, of Van Wert passed away at on September 14, 2022 at her residence. She was born on June 8, 1953, in Lima, to the late Fred R. and Helen G (Mox) Gorman. On April 27, 1973, she married the late Randall J. Bendele. Together, they shared years of memories.
Ann was a 1971 graduate of Lincolnview High School.
She had worked at Federal Mogul, Van Wert, for nearyly 20 years.
Ann was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Spending time with her grandchildren and family was the most important thing in Ann's life.
Surviving are her children, Richard A. (Amy) Bendele of Van Wert and Nicholas (Jessica) Bendele of Berne, Indiana; her grandchildren, Alena, Ruby and A.J. Bendele; a brother and sister, Paul R. (Bobbie Quick) Gorman of Dallas and Susie (Tony) Leiter of Van Wert; and an estranged brother, Jack (Linda) Gorman of Ft Jennings.
Ann gave the gift of knowledge and life through the Ohio State University Anatomical Donation Program to help further the study of Multiple Sclerosis.
A celebration of Ann's life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds Annex Building from 2-5 PM.
