Evelyn Sue was an eternal optimist with a great sense of humor. She had a can-do spirit. When adversity came to call, she met it with grace and poise and always remained positive. She was an emotionally strong woman while simultaneously being a wonderful caretaker for those around her. She looked to lift up others and enjoyed making people laugh. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend. Loyal, empathetic and forgiving, Evelyn had an innate ability to see things from the other person's perspective and to recognize their needs. Everyone loved her. She will be missed by family, friends and many others whose lives she touched. Evelyn will live in our hearts forever.
On November 4, 2020, Evelyn was diagnosed with COVID-19. She was admitted to the Goshen Hospital ICU November 16. November 25, 2020 she lost her battle with COVID-19.
