Evelyn (Mason) Ludwig, 74, of Van Wert, Ohio, passed away at 1:40 a.m.Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Vancrest Nursing Home in Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born February 10, 1940 in Hudson, Michigan to Austin E. and Bessie (Butts) Mason.
She married William H. Ludwig on August 26, 1959. He passed away on July 2, 2011. They had three children: Sue A. (Daniel) Jones of Delphos, Ohio, Jeffrey O. Ludwig of Delphos, Ohio, and Michael A. Ludwig is who is deceased.
Also preceding her in death is one brothers: Warren Mason; and two sisters: Ruth Johnson and Irene Otte.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She worked at Citi Financial, Van Wert, Ohio, She was a lifetime member of the Elks in Van Wert, Ohio, and was a former member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Van Wert, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, Ohio. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate. Burial will follow at Mohr Cemetery, Van Wert County, Ohio.
