Flo Gallaway, 95, Van Wert, died at 2:42 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born Dec. 7, 1916, in Scott, Ohio, to the late Emma (Jenkins) Williamson and Morgan Williamson.
Her husband, M. Carl Gallaway, died March 9, 1975. They were married Sept. 5, 1936.
Survivors include her children: William C. (Jeanne) Gallaway, Richard (Julia) Gallaway and Marjorie (Dennis) Linser, all Van Wert, and Jerry (Sandra) Gallaway of Nashville, Tenn.; one brother: Leo (Sue) Williamson of Byesville, Ohio; a sister: Rea Stripe of Van Wert; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by brothers: Joy and Von Williamson and sisters: Gay Huey and Ilo Mozingo.
She retired as assistant house mother at Marsh Foundation, Van Wert, after 40 plus years of service.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Van Wert.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio.
Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice or American Cancer Society.
