VAN WERT, Ohio a�" Gary D. Keysor, 62, of Van Wert, died Saturday, May 24, 2014, at his residence.
He was born March 9, 1952, in Van Wert, to Arlene (Hyman) Keysor, who survives of Van Wert, and Kenneth L. Keysor, who died April 5, 2009.
His wife, Kathy (Glassburn) Keysor, survives of Van Wert. They were married April 5, 1975.
Other survivors include children: Kenn (Stephanie) Keysor and Michael (Leah) Keysor, both of Van Wert; father-in-law: Willard Glassburn who survives in Wabash, Indiana; sister-in-law: Karen (Wayne) Carpenter who survives in Wabash; nieces and nephews: Kalee Carpenter, Ty Carpenter, and Max Carpenter, all survive in Wabash, Tom (Heather) Hitchcock of Celina, Ohio, Brian (Tamara) Hitchcock of Van Wert, Amber (EJ.) Genato of California; Adam (Jamie) Wehage and Dawn (Matt) Freeman, both of Van Wert; sisters: Cheryl (Emmett) Gehres and Susan (John) Wehage, both of Van Wert, and six grandchildren: Dalton, Brenna, Emma, Claire, Beth, and Joseph Keysor.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Helen Glassburn and two brothers-in-law: Randy Glassburn and Rodney Glassburn.
He was a lifetime farmer, attended First Baptist Church in Van Wert, was active in Farm Focus for many years and formerly active with 4-H.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Van Wert. The Rev. Steve Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point, Ohio.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday May 30, 2014, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
Preferred memorial is First Baptist Church of Van Wert.
