SEBRING, Fla. a�" Gayle A. Ashbaugh, Jr., 70, of Sebring, died at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 15, 2014, at Bethesda Hospital, Boynton Beach, Fla.
He was born Jan. 31, 1944, to the late Phyllis Ann (Stripe) Ashbaugh and Gayle Alton Ashbaugh, Sr.
His wife, Mary Moore Ashbaugh, preceded him in death.
Survivors include children: Randall A. (Susie) Ashbaugh of South Carolina and Douglas B. (Lynn) Ashbaugh of Van Wert, Ohio; brother: Gary A. (Deb) Ashbaugh of Van Wert; sisters: Susan (Lonnie) Miller of Grover Hill, Ohio, Sandra K. Wingate of Van Wert, and Debra L. (Donnie) Miller of Colorado; grandchildren: Brian Ashbaugh, Abby Ashbaugh, Preshus Malott, Zac Arnold, and Jacob Drake, and a great-grandchild: Benyamin Schaffner.
He retired from Aeroquip Corporation, Van Wert, after 37 years of service.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
