VAN WERT, Ohio - Grace V. Keysor, 99, of Van Wert, loving mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home, Van Wert.
She was born July 21, 1911, in Champaign, Ill., to the late Viola J. (Gibbink) Fiock and George H. Fiock. On April 8, 1932, she married Elmer C. Keysor. He died Nov. 15, 1987.
Survivors include her children: Delores (Harvey) Thatcher of Middle Point, Ohio, Colleen (Tom) Myers of Haviland, Ohio, Noreda (William) Hoaglin of Ft. Myers, Fla., George (Sharon) Keysor of Paulding, Ohio, and Diana (Louis) Crow of Van Wert; a sister, Dolly Fiock of 295 Westfield Road, Noblesville, IN 46060; 22 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Fiock, and her sisters, Pearl Schaffer, Mildred Bauer and Olive Castle.
She was a homemaker and had formerly worked at Scott Equity and Aeroquip Corp. in Van Wert. She had been a member of the former Scott United Methodist Church, Scott, Ohio.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery, Paulding County, Ohio. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are Scott Fire and EMS or Van Wert Manor Activities Fund or donor's choice.
