Gregory Jenkins

VAN WERT, Ohio - Gregory C. Jenkins, 56, of Van Wert, died at 8:35 a.m. Sunday morning, Aug. 11, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center after an extended illness.
He was born July 17, 1957, in Van Wert, to the late Shirley (Bell) Davis and Carroll Jenkins.
His wife, Rebecca (Lucas) Jenkins, survives of Van Wert. They were married June 27, 1994.
Other survivors include stepchildren: Lori (Sarah Garman) Johnson of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Cory Fetzer of Van Wert and Kristen Fetzer of Maumee, Ohio; brother-in-law: Bill Spoor of Van Wert, Ohio sisters: Cynde (Mike) Wamsley of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sandy Eversole of Van Wert, Ohio; sister-in-law: Jan Jenkins of Van Wert, and three grandchildren: Peyton Smith, Jordan Fetzer and Jodi McDaniels.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Rick Jenkins, and a sister: Chris Spoor.
He sold furniture at Ray's Furniture and then later on at Tricia's Furniture, both of Van Wert, for over 25 years. He was a former member of the Van Wert Moose Lodge
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate.
Preferred memorial is to the family.
