Gregory C Stewart, 58, of Lima passed away on November 28, 2021 at St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born on September 2, 1963, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, the son of Vonnie Frazier Stewart of Rockford and the late Aulden Stewart. On July 20, 1985, he married Darlene (Schmidt) Stewart, who survives.

Greg graduated from Mendon Union High School.

Greg worked as a truck driver, boom operator, and warehouse manager at Modern Building Supply in Lima.

Greg was a kid at heart, often enjoying laser tag, ball games, and card games with his family. He was a good sport, but very competitive. Greg rarely lost any game he played.

In addition to his mother and wife, Greg is survived by two brothers; Aulden Ray (Becky) Stewart of Bluffton, Indiana, Rondall Keith (Kandy) Stewart of Wilmore, Kentucky, one sister; Donna Lynn Smith of Columbus, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 3, 2021, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home 111 W. First Street Rockford, OH 45882. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 3750 US-33 Rockford, OH 45882.

Family and friends will be received from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home 111 W. First Street Rockford, OH 45882.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gregory`s memory may be sent to Allen County Ohio Adopt A Pet, 1165 Seriff Road, Lima, Ohio 45805.

Due to rising COVID numbers in the area, Greg's family requests anyone attending his services use their judgement. If you happen to not feel well please send a card or call Greg's family to express sympathy instead of attending the funeral services in person.
