H. Pauline "Polly" Beck, 84, of Van Wert, died at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice. She was born Sept. 13, 1932, in Dixon, Ohio. Her parents, Mabel M. (Mollenkopf) Kever and Joseph D. Kever, are deceased.
Her husband, Carl "C.B." Beck, survives of Van Wert. They were married over 62 years ago on Nov. 14, 1954.
Other survivors include children, Doug Beck, Lisa (William) Poe and Lori (Mark) Fast, all of Van Wert, a brother, William "Bill" Kever of LaQuinta, California, and grandchildren, Emily Fast, Bethany Fast and Rebekah Fast.
One grandson, Ethan Fast, is deceased.
She retired in 1994 from Kennedy Manufacturing Company, Van Wert, and had also worked for North American Van Lines. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed her grandchildren very much. She was a 1950 graduate of Tully-Convoy High School and an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cincinnati Reds fan.
Private family graveside services will be held at Convoy I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Convoy, Ohio.
Preferred memorial is Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
